Currently the market seems to be unstable for some varieties, specially for the Pumpkin Seeds Snow Whitethe prices are going up. While for other varieties, than the Kernels Shine Skin and GWS variety where, the prices seems to be firm.

The most outstanding points for the this year Pumpkin Seeds are the following:

1. The New Crop is already available.
2. The first shipments are already starting.
3. The plantation area is drastically reduced. Farmers decrease by 50-60% their total planting.
4. The cold weather conditions during the Spring and Summer in the Heilongjiang and Northern Area has caused a bad growth, affecting mainly in the yield, the size and the maturity of the seeds
5. The carry over of the “old” crop is higher than the last year, because the current market prices went down and several farmers are holding some stock and are not willing to sell at the current price level.
6. The prices are predicted to increase more.
